The France Florida Foundation for the Arts (FFFA) seeks to further develop relations between France and Florida by raising funds and supporting three objectives:
- To encourage all forms of cultural, educational and professional cooperation between French and Floridian institutions and individuals
- To encourage the study and use of the French language
- To increase the awareness and appreciation of French and francophone culture and history
The FFFA strives to achieve its mission and its objectives by supporting French visual and performing arts (applied arts, music, film, contemporary art, theatre), through concerts, performances, exhibitions, but also educational projects, lectures or cultural workshops.
The Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the United States play an important role proposing cultural and educational projects to the FFFA.
